About this Meal
A Cuban classic that literally translates to "old clothes" - Colorado grass-finished flank steak slowly simmered with tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and green olives until the steak falls apart like...old clothes (what else!). Served with another Cuban classic, Moros y Cristianos - black beans with rice, seasoned with cumin, coriander, roasted red bell peppers and oregano! One of the most flavorful dishes we have!
Slowly simmer the flank steak in a crock pot for 5-8 hours or in a Dutch oven for 2-3 hours, re-heat the Moros y Cristianos, and smile as you eat! 2 pans
Ingredients *(All Organic with exceptions)
Flank steak, sea salt, black pepper, cumin, oregano, green and roasted red or yellow bell peppers, onions, green olives, garlic, parsley, bay leaf, e.v. olive oil, lime juice, tomatoes, beef broth, basmati brown rice, black beans, apple cider vinegar, coriander.
